How do I proceed with the registration for CoWIN Vaccination using the CoWin Gov In portal?

- Go to https://www.cowin.gov.in/ and click “Register/Sign In.”
- Enter your mobile number and click “Get OTP.”
- Check your phone for the OTP and enter it within 180 seconds. Click “Verify.”
- Once verified, fill in your details on the Vaccination Registration page.
- Click “Register” at the bottom after entering all details.
- You’ll receive a confirmation message upon successful registration.

- Visit the Account Details page and click the Schedule button to book a vaccination appointment.
- You will be taken to the Book Appointment for Vaccination page. You can search for your preferred vaccination centre based on the District or Pin code.
- After you click the Search button, a list of vaccination centres will appear according to your search criteria and the State’s age policy.
- The system will show the names of nearby centres based on the State/District or Pin code you entered.
- Select a centre from the list to see the available time slots.
- Once you’ve chosen a slot, click the Book button. This will lead you to the Appointment Confirmation page.
- Review the details and click the Confirm button to finalize your booking.
- After confirmation, you will see a confirmation page with a message confirming your successful appointment.
- You can download and save the confirmation by clicking the Download button to keep a record.
How To Download CoWIN Vaccination Certificate?
You need to have received at least one dose to get your Vaccination certificate. Here’s how you can download it:
- Open the CoWIN app and log in with your Registered Mobile Number.
- Tap on the Certificate tab to access your domestic vaccination certificate.
- Click the Download option to save the domestic vaccination certificate.
The certificate will be downloaded in PDF format.
International CoWIN Vaccination Certificate:
To download an International Certificate, follow these steps after you’ve received both vaccination doses:
- Log in to the Co-WIN app using your Registered Mobile Number.
- Tap on the International Certificate tab.
- Choose the member for whom you want to update passport details from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your Date of Birth and Passport number.
- Check the terms and conditions box to agree.
- Click “Submit a request.”
- Return to the dashboard by clicking the back arrow.
- Once saved, return to the dashboard and click on the International Travel Certificate tab again.
- Download the certificate to your device.
How to Share CoWIN Vaccination Status:
To share your CoWIN Vaccination Status, follow these steps if you’ve received at least one dose:
- Log in to the Co-WIN app using your Registered Mobile Number.
- Tap on “Share your Status.” A screen will appear with various posters.
- Choose a poster and share it on social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Gmail.
- Sharing your vaccination status in your social circle allows others to see the poster and QR code.
- If someone new sees your shared vaccination poster, they can click “Share” to also share their own vaccination status.
Citizen Registration And Appointment For CoWIN Vaccination:
The CoWIN app is the digital tool for India’s vaccination effort. It lets people sign up and schedule their vaccinations at chosen centres. The self-registration part makes sure that the right people get vaccines. Here’s what citizens can do:
- Sign up for a vaccination slot (You can also sign up for 6 more people).
- Pick a center where you want to get vaccinated.
- Choose an available time slot.
- Change or cancel your vaccination appointment if needed.
CoWIN Vaccination For Children:
Parents or guardians can register their children for COVOVAX and CORBEVAX vaccines on Co-WIN using identification documents like AADHAR Card, PAN Card, Unique Disability ID, Ration Card with Photo, and School Photo ID Card. Private vaccination centres can give vaccines to children aged 12 and above for both vaccines.
For CORBEVAX, parents or guardians can use the same documents to register children. Government centers can vaccinate children aged 12 to 14, while private centers can vaccinate children 12 and above.
Using similar documents, kids aged 15-18 can register for COVAXIN on Co-WIN. Currently, only COVAXIN is approved for this age group.
